GIL OZERI, TALL ACTOR, WRITER, & ARTIST

Hello! Gil Ozeri is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer and artist, best known for his work on Netflix’s Big Mouth, #BlackAF, Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and ABC’s Happy Endings.

Gil is a Co-Executive producer on Netflix’s animated hit series Big Mouth, and has written for all of its seasons, including the writing of every season finale. Among other characters on the show Gil is the voice of Jay’s cushion Brad, Missy’s Glowworm Wiggles, and Leore. Gil stars as Danny on Netflix’s #blackAF with Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones. He also stars as Ritchie in the film Uncorked by Prentice Penny on Netflix.

Gil has appeared on numerous TV show including Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBOMax, Search Party on HBOMax, Sarah Silverman’s I Love You, America, Netflix’s animated show Hoops, The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, Animals on HBO, Another Period on Comedy Central, and has had roles in the movies Death of a Telemarketer and Slow Learners.

Gil has also written on the movie Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm, the TV show Another Period, The Film Independent Spirit Awards, and Adult Swim’s Children’s Hospital and NTSF:SD:SUV. He’s also written feature films for Disney and Dreamworks.

Gil has also starred in many TV pilots, including NBC’s Friends in Law, the Greg Daniels pilot Friday Night Dinner for NBC, Duty for Comedy Central, as well as his own sketch show pilot for Comedy Central flawlessly titled, The Gil Ozeri Show. He also sold a show he wrote to FOX called Frauds about a family of criminals that engage in a ponzi scheme.

Gil has also garnered attention for making short, surreal videos released via Snapchat. He’s also gained attention for stunts involving watching marathons of the entirety of the television show Entourage (the Entourage-athon) and Two and a Half Men (Two and a Half Days of Two and a Half Men).

Gil started his comedy career with the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York, and has continued to collaborate with many fellow UCB actors, including Ben Schwartz, Adam Pally, John Gemberling, Nick Kroll, and Jon Daly. His short film with Jon Daly entitled Men premiered at the Palm Springs Festival. 

Gil was on the lauded improv teams Death by Roo Roo and Hot Sauce. Gil’s also performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival twice (in 2011 and 2007). When there isn’t a global pandemic, Gil can usually be seen performing live at ASSSSCAT at the UCB Theatre and with Ben Schwartz & Friends at Largo at the Coronet
